Who We Are - Salute Our Veterans
Our Mission
Our mission is to hire 20 to 30 local veterans looking for employment. Supporting them in an environment that emphasizes dignity, comradery and respect.
Our Vision
Our Vision is three-fold. First, to secure a building that will become the Salute Our Veterans Thrift Store. Second, we create a pilot program for the warehouse area that consists of special workstations designed for our veteran workers plus the usual receiving, sorting cleaning and pricing work spaces.. These special workstations will include woodworking, electronics repair and computer stations. Some will be ergonomically designed for wheelchair access as space allows. Third, Grand Opening of our thrift store so our community can shop, volunteer or donate to support our local veteran population.
Our Impact
As a completely new nonprofit start-up, we have only just begun this exciting journey of creating a green and eco-friendly business model that will be trend setting in our unique approach to helping an under-served part of our population.
Working together with this wonderful community, veteran organizations, government agencies and local businesses, we can make an amazing difference. These brave men and women gave so much for us, now we have an opportunity to give back to them.

About Us
Our Story
The founding of Salute Our Veterans is a labor of appreciation and commitment to the men and women who have given their time, service and dedication to this great country. We have an ultimate mission of creating jobs for 30 to 40 veterans and additionally helping many local veterans in need with helpful resources and valuable information.
My husband, Eric, dedicated 22 years to the Air Force and two of our three sons served in the Air Force and Navy respectively. This is a heartfelt mission.
